To be exact I found a carbon fiber texture online, put it on top of the image and skewed it so it would fit the hood, then I made a selection around the hood using the pen tool and used it to apply a layer mask to the carbon fiber texture.
After that I changed blending mode of the carbon fiber texture layer to multiply and lowered the opacity a bit.
