I guess that I should have worded the title a bit differently… stock size 215/45-17 tires… not the stock Primacy HP tires. I’ve got winter tires on the stock wheels and will try to sell the Primacy HP tires in the spring.

I’m looking to put 215/45-17 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires on the new wheels… so the question is 17x7.5 or 17x8 wheels? Would 8" wheels help or hurt performance?
