Works AB Exaust Review
I've recieved my Works AB Muffler delete and very impressed at it's price at 350$ and the sound note it makes. As other has described this as a low and throaty sound I can confirm this is true. Current set up is stock everything but only changing out the axleback. For some strange reason videos online don't give too clear on what it really sounds like in person so I was a little skeptical but I can say I have made a good decision. Overlooked the welding and they do a very good job. Will throw in some videos of some drive by's and up close when I have the chance. Overall I'm happy and impressed =).

One thing I notice is the right exhaust tips rusts. Other than the rust on the tips the sound is very nice. Anyone else experiencing this? |

Really disappointed as of now. Someone from the WORKS side called and gave me a very brief update only stating "someone will call" by the end of Friday but, I got nothing. No call, no e-mail- nothing. I left all my info. with them too.
Note: the rust or oxidation is only from less than 14 days from receiving it. Anyone else dealt with the WORKS or this type of rusting? Any clue as to why it's doing this not even a month in? I live in freaking Texas- we never get rain.... |

UPDATE: I finally got a hold of someone at WORKS to measure the situation:
I was advised by a WORKS staff member to use WD 40 and buff it out: the results were just alright. Found a couple ice-pick shaped chips from the metal itself and no amount of WD 40 was able to lift it off-I'm thinking I just got very unlucky with a defect. I'm just waiting to see if the rust comes back in those chipped spots inside the exhaust. I'm hoping the rust doesn't spread in those open chipped spots but, we'll see. All in all, the customer service-initially-was a bust but, once I got a hold of them they were eager to help me out and said they'd do what ever it would take to make me satisfied. Will post pictures soon. |
