We have coated many pistons in the past with great success. The dry film skirt coatings definitely helps the wear and tear.

Toyota engineers aren't looking for max power... They're looking for reliable 200bhp at the lowest cost...

@FullBlown

Why did you stop offering 9.5:1?

Less options streamline sales and production?

Hi we must of not updated our site. We strictly run 9.5:1 compression on our custom pistons. Our Custom pistons are designed to withstand over 700hp.

The drop down menu only shows 9.0:1....

I was wondering about that too.

If you read the post I was quoting, the original design did not include a bowl in the piston. The final design did however. So the Arias engineers decided to follow the Subaru/Toyota engineers. My original point stands.

I thought you were speaking in general rather than specifically to the point of the shape. After I reread I realized what you were referring to and have just been too busy up till now to correct myself.

I simply overreacted because I can't stand the mindset that the paradigm controllers MUST be better than non-backed, not in control because "money, control, insert whatever meme here"...

So, I apologize for that post.
