Very aggressive on the on and off ramps (when no cops looking)
Pretty heavy foot on the rare occasions I am driving in the city
I pity the guys that are 98% stop and go.

I am old, work for an American company and one plant is so near the border that they don't even know metric so I do almost everything in 'Murican anyways. I am however fully bimeasuremental.

Keep the revs low, like shifting around 3000. Accelerate slowly. Coast whenever you can. Time your coasting so you brake little or not at all. Increase tire inflation.

Or grow a pair of balls.

Thats pretty much the same gas mileage I get expect I use back roads which I treat like highways anyway.

But the best gas mileage I ever got was a 4 hour trip that was mostly highway averaged 38 mpg. Had cruise control to around 75 mph I also had the crappy Prius tires and used Mobil 1 fuel economy for oil those helped quite a bit.

I've never reset the computer mpg and in 16,000 miles it says i'm averaging 19.8 mpg. 7 mile commute to work with little to no traffic.

you drive aggressively and I bet you almost never go on highways. That's probably normal, short trips kill gas mileage.
