A buddy of mine has a set of konig integrams 18x9 +45 on his forester and he is planning on getting something new soon, before I pull the trigger on those, I wanted to know if those would fit without any issues on stock suspension? I think they have 245/40/18 wheels on them. I am also planning on lowering on coils in the future as well.
Thank you in advance |

With Tein adjustable tophats, you can alter the camber from the top. You can adjust the bottom via camber or crash bolts.
Rear is non-adjustable unless new aftermarket control arms. Sent from my SM-N920W8 using Tapatalk |

I could see 245-255/35 fitting. The only thing is you might get some rub under really hard compression in the rear on the plastic tab at the top of the bumper.

Ah damn... I think I might just stick with 9.5" and smaller wheels then. Dont want to mess with all that.

Should I run 18x8.5 +33 all around or put 18x9.5 +38 in the rear? Tire recommendation? Stock height for now but planning to drop maybe 3/4 inch or airlift in the future. Will I have any problems with this for now on stock height?

Without coilovers, you need to run less camber and thus more poke to fit larger wheels. Sent from my SM-N920W8 using Tapatalk |

My new wheels come in this week and while it appears that they will clear the stock struts there seems to be conflicting info.
Wheels/Tires are Kosei K6R 17x9 +42 with 245/40/17 RS-3s. Seems like some people are reporting this set-up will rub, others say it's close, others say it will definitely rub and you need spacers in the front. These are going to be my main track tires/wheels and I'm curious if I DO need to run a 5mm spacer to clear in the front am I better running them all around or this non-nonsensical? Not my forte, clearly. If this has been discussed before please excuse my crap searching ...

Also everyone's definition of "safe" is different. I myself would want 20mm minimum clearance and your setup is probably less than that. I would say try the wheels on and do some circles in the lot and see if you rub and then add spacers as needed. |
