To comment on your other post, I'm not quite at the HP you mentioned, but I trust the tune and my car completely. I'm running about 240whp on a Mustang dyno on 91 octane at 8-9psi and around 280whp on 100 octane 12-14psi. |

PTuning was one of the best shops that I've been to with regards to quality of work and professionalism. I unfortunately got the unlucky end of the stick when it comes to getting miles out of a boosted setup. I only got 1800 miles or so out of the car on the kit before spinning a bearing (which happened on both the stock and built blocks). Figured I would share. I ended up selling the car because of it. If I could do it all over again, I probably would roll the dice and still do it.

So to share some of my story May of 2012: Got Car, put 900 miles on it in 3 days and dropped it off to Ptuning for Turbo Development. 6 to 9 months later they had a the beta ready and then another 6 to 9 months later the full kit was released. I have had their kit off and on the car since the first few thousand miles and then permanently on (production version) at 8,000 miles with most of its earlier life spent on the dyno. Car is somewhere near 40k miles now and still running strong at 400whp (detuned when 93 octane is put in) and while I sold it to get something a bit fancier and more family friendly(needed a 4 door that could carry a potential kid) I miss the vehicle every day and I am in contact with the owner who also has another ptuning turbo setup FRS (Yes he loves Ptuning so much he has 2 FRS's with 2 ptuning turbo kits) who tells me how flawless it is running. TLDR: I Trust only them to touch and modify my vehicles.

Any of you guys have the Mishi Rad and shroud combo? If so...did the Ptuning stuff all fit in with no modifications?
I am kinda worried the IC and piping is going to be the problem area for me. |

Due to the much larger transmission housing on the automatic, our low mount turbo setup would have to be completely re-design. Unfortunately, we currently are not looking to release a kit for the automatic. We made revisit this in the near future. If we decide to develop a kit for the automatic, we will definitely announce it way in advance.
Thanks again for your interest in the PTUNING turbo kit. Regards, Mike @ PTUNING |
