Honestly, if people wanted a place to take out their aggression through driving or stroke their egos, they should try out autox. Always a good sport for those without dedicated cars who want to drive hard. More importantly, it will teach them how to be better drivers.

Race on the track, not on the streets.
Thats why most ppl race on the street at midnight

I respect not promoting street "racing".

Being an 86 owner, I notice PLENTY of other cars trying to challenge me in the streets, because EVERYBODY wants to race you. I just laugh at the mustangs and cars that have a clear advantage in power over you, because that's a gimme.

However, when an eclipse rolls up trying to contest, that's a different story... but I'll leave it at that. I just wish there was a closer racing track to me and not all the way in Atlanta

I imagine it's more of a liability thing for the forum. I mean if the owners/moderators don't want it on here that is their choice. We all have different definitions of what is 'safe' whether it's 30mph or 130mph or somewhere in between. I'm sure we also all bought a superior handling car to drive to the letter of the law... LOL! Just don't be stupid and you won't get dead (probably). And don't brag about it on the Internet if you did be stupid and are still here to talk about it, haha. Fundamentally though racing does belong on the track. Although I tend to be more competitive/aggressive than the average grandma driving around.
