Delicious Tuning - Plug-n-Play Air/Oil Separator (AOS)
Hi All,
Delicious Tuning has developed a new Air / Oil Separator (AOS) that is plug-n-play with most all forced inductions applications. One of the primary concerns on the development of our AOS was to ensure that all emission control devices are working as intended and nothing has been removed from the vehicles breather system, (including the PCV). While we may not be the first to create an AOS, we saw a need for a simple plug-n-play system for almost all forced induction applications that will also work with naturally aspirated vehicles (for those looking to upgrade down the road). The number one reason to have an AOS is to remove the oil ingested by the engine that comes from the OEM breather system. Below are a list of reasons why this is a good thing. Benefits of the Delicious Tuning AOS - Reduces engine oil ingestion - Reduces harmful cylinder hot spots - Reduces pre-ignition and knock activity - Reduces fuel vapor contamination - Longer engine life expectancy - Simple installation and maintenance free - Fits most forced induction applications - Retains OEM PCV and breather system Model Year Compatiblity 2013 - 2020 Subaru BRZ (All LHD Models) 2013 - 2016 Scion FR-S (All LHD Models) 2017 - 2020 Toyota GT86 (All LHD Models) 2013 - 2020 Works Turbo Kit - Not Compatible Included in Order Air / Oil Separator (1) PCV SAE 30R7 Hose (96 inches) High Quality Clamps (8) Digital Install Guide (1) Union 3/8-1/2 Adaptor (Edelbrock Only) (1) For more details: 86 AOS |

How does it empty or where is it drained to?

It drains back into the crank case, instead of (partially) into your intake manifold (stock). So there is no need to empty it out.
For forced induction applications this is a pretty big deal, as there is a lot of blow-by from the heads into the intake manifold under boost. |

Is it me or does the drain hose rise above the drains low point in the picture? I guess it is just baffled inside since it doesn't look like it opens up to take a cart like a provent

@DeliciousTuning,
Can we see a couple pictures of it installed with the strut braces in place? And is there room enough for it with the Harrop installed? |

We have reviewed the Harrop Supercharger dimensions, location of hoses, and overall pictures. Based on this we are confident it will fit. If it does not we will offer a full refund on the kit. We have tested it on multiple Edelbrock setups and it clears with plenty of room. |

Yeah, it looks like it would fit.....if I didn't have my custom fuse-mounting shelf in place next to my homemade AOS. You don't make one for the opposite side, do you? |

No we do not have an AOS for the other side. We did look on that side, but mounting it was a bit harder and it was a bit tighter on that side. |

Is this AOS CARB legal? I think it is since it's a sealed system retaining the OEM PCV valve, but can anyone confirm?

It will not pass visual in CA. Anything that alters the PCV system is an automatic fail according to my SMOG tech buddies even if it technically reduces emissions. With that said if you do fail visual just remove it for smog then throw it back on. Doesn’t take much at all.

Just installed mine! Very simple and straightforward install, took around 20 minutes even for me who likes to take my time and triple and quadruple check everything. I do have an STI PCV valve installed so I'll have to check back in a few weeks to see how it's doing since it is designed for the stock PCV valve

Which location does the AOS oil drain to in the crankcase? Does it drain to one of the heads?

It seems like it’s draining back down through the PCV valve into the crankcase
