Where was this?! I extended a work trip to Seattle and was around - though I'd just have wanted to go fly myself... Love seeing the variety.

Washington State International Kite Festival - WSIKF
Longbeach Washington just north of the Columbia River and Astoria OR.
Third full week of August every year Monday through Sunday.

Not exactly Seattle local, but yeah, if you're coming from further away.

Yesterday I was 3D printing some stuff & noticed that it was acting up. I didn’t have time to check, so I just turned it off to worry about it later. Well damn… looks like extruder went bad. Specifically filament feeding motor went out. Parts are cheap, so should take long to fix it.

…with that said, Bambu A1 multicolor 3D printer is looking good upgrade. This is what happens when I don’t have any car to mod lol

I was looking at those. I have an older Creality Ender 3 which I upgraded to direct extruder.

How’s that working out now? Just watch of replacement/upgrade & looks like it’s way better than original.

Well, so much for Corollas being super reliable. I threw 2 CEL codes related to the turbine shaft speed sensor and transmission input speed sensor. First it happened a couple months ago and then disappeared. This time it came up twice. It may be jumping to conclusions, but I'm beginning to deeply regret selling my BRZ

You have a GRC? I haven't had any issues with mine. Granted, I only have like 4600 miles on it, but I've had it since last January. Where was your engine made?

Nah, just the XSE hatchback. And it was made in Japan. This is the first and only issue. And I'm quite certain it's an easy fix if it's just the sensors. I just don't know where they are located and which ones to order.

Those have turbocharged engines now?

But yeah, sensors are third party parts (I'm sure Toyota doesn't stick to just one brand either, they probably go for the lowest bidder at the time), so those companies might be lowering their quality to maximize profits...which unfortunately affects Toyota's reliability.

I am very confused then. The turbine shaft speed sensor would be for a turbo, no?

I'm confused too! It's more related to an automatic transmission from everything I googled.

Yeah, that's very weird. Maybe they use the same sensor and terminal for the automatic? Although that doesn't make sense either since the MY25 GRC will have an automatic.

If it's still under warranty, maybe consider taking it to the dealership?
