Hi, mind telling me what software you are connecting to the device with? Have you tried connecting with one of the Android Apps such as Torque?

Thanks

Torque works great. I have to get some super glue for my micro adapter. Toyota tech went to pull it off and the case came apart. Np though.

Sent from my flux capacitor using Taptalk

I'm essentially using mine as:

- More accurate speedometer
- Air intake measurements
- A bunch of other measurements that the OB-Link pushes out

The HKS OB-Link package was more expensive but I like the quality of the sensor and the format of Carscope to Torque.
Hey @Zangetsu can you tell me if the HKS OB-link gives you real time oil temp please? Their website and info says it does but nothing like getting confirmation from someone tht has it actually hooked up to an 86.

I've just ordered an Head Up Display from Kogan this morning.
They have two types, one using GPS, the other via OBD11.
I went for the latter as it gives coolant temp, air flow, battery voltage etc.
Only $69 and seems to display far more than only speed.
Download the manual to see complete details.
My only concern is sun/heat might destroy but it comes with a basic 12/12 w'ty

"Cain't hardly wait"
