Vest might make you look like one of the groomsmen.

Shirt and tie with a blazer or coat. Whatever. Lol

I know dimman said it's pretty complicated to get the roll center of a double wishbone, but Tune To Win makes it look easy. Just draw vectors from each wishbone until they intersect, then from that point back towards the middle of the tire on the ground... this is what I mean:

what am I missing?

Yeah, that's not the huge problem.

At the wedding there gonna be 300~450 ppl gonna be there and out of those ppl 90% gonna be Asian. Out of that 90%, 75% gonna be ladies (both singles & taken).

BIG question is "How many chicks my friend (who's Asian chick-holic) gonna try to hit and fail or success LOL

Now do it for your car. And then redo it as it moves through its travel.

Lol enough with the smirks I'm just asking if I'm on the right path. I assume that with some trick photography it can be done... I'm only 30 pages into that book lol

oh fvck

When we get into suspension geometry we will find that the roll center is much more elusive than is commonly
realized-it moves all over the place, both vertically and laterally.

Easy on paper, but I can't think of an easy and accurate way to measure it on a real car...

Gyro sensors on the wishbones should give you a readout of the angle of each arm at any given time, and a datalogger can graph it. From there you can find the roll center at various positions of the suspension, I think.

I have a book that describes a way with strings on a 2d carboard scale model. But it is geared for designing from scratch so the points are what you make them. On an existing car we can measure the linkages center to center for the lengths but then need the relative pivot positions on the chassis and hubs. It's doable but involves some disassembly and/or creative under the car measurements.

I'll have to get under there one of these days...

Anyway, I just read that the fuel level changes the COG... so what should the suspension tune be based of, a 1/2 tank?
