This car is to get my by till the new Supra is out plain and simple. I will enjoy it, mod it and everything else I want to. When the Supra comes out and if it looks good I will buy one no questions asked, THEN my little FR-S will be then dedicated to strictly performance mods and a trackish car and only that, my Supra will be my more luxury power street car to play with. That's the plan see if life plays fair as it's guaranteed a few years away.

That is one giant ass variable there. Sounds like a pretty good plan though. I approve. What do you think the Supra's MSRP will be?

Best guess based on their collaboration with BMW on the project 55-60K. I know at world of wheels show here a few months ago when they were unvieling the new Tundra I specifically held back to talk to them about this and the USA rep for Toyota said that Toyotas plan was to keep it under 60 grand so if that`s the gig I will be in and I will do whatever it is I need to do to aquire one "if it looks good". Some of their renderings look really good lots of old school lines like the 86, some are too futuristic looking for me. So really alot of wait and see here of course. I will not ever buy a car of any kind just because of what horsepower it has and so on, it has to be something for me that really catches the eye. I am very happy with the little 86 platform as it is so easy to make your own, and one thing I know about Supras is the aftermarket support will be there as well for sure. HOPE is a strong word but i do hope that the Supras look will be similar to their older styles, more 90s look that's what caught my eye on the 86 is the 90s feel both exterior and interior actually...guess you could say I am an older guy.

I like this one.

The intake looking things make it look mid engined though. Not sure what their function would be in a front engined car other than highly effective parachutes.

Oh yeah, I knew people were doing it, but that doesn't mean it didn't make it a lot more nose heavy and raise the center of gravity. Although, I don't have much room to talk because mine's definitely going to be way nose heavy when I'm done.

I'm going to do what I can to counteract it though. Suspension and aerodynamics and whatnot.

Trunk cooling vents, keeps the picnic cooler cool. Keeps the whole car cool possibly.

Daily driver... Minimum of 2 track days a year..
Some minor tweaks such as tires, better brake fluid and pads for those
Track days.. No warranty voiding mods are planned.. Waiting to see how the
Twins evolve and for all the weak spots to be identified and resolved..
Enjoying it as it is right now... but another honest 50 - 60 whp and tq would be
Sweet.

Daily Driver that I can have a little fun with on the twisties.

Keeping it stock for the most part since I already have a heavily modified car. Just a few cosmetic mods to get it to my liking. As far as performance I was thinking a drop in filter, catted UEL header (if someone releases one), and maybe a Unichip. Just want to get rid of that torque dip.

Also considering a carbon drive shaft to reduce some rotational mass.

plan to put about $2000 into it before it sees a track (havnt even scratched this yet) but it is definitely my DD for now. It lacks power but the mpg makes up for that as I do cosmetic mods and chillin out for new power options to continue to hit the market. In no rush to mod mod mod.
