anyone know of a good place I can take my rotors in to get resurfaced? Preferably in the East Bay but Peninsula would work too. @OmarYasin I called WheelWorks and they said they send their rotors out to Napa to get them done is that true??

Livermore used to warranty them no question, but recently have been sticklers about it. I think they no longer replace them if the condensation goes away.

They've been on the car. Getting rid of them, that's a different story. Move to something more track worthy yet house the BBKs.

bought this huge dresser at IKEA earlier and it was a HUGE pain in the ass to assemble. I want to punch those stupid Swedish engineers with an ice pick right in the neck.

Anyone know what the reasoning could be for why when I use 76 gas my exhaust tips develope a layer of black build up (assuming it's carbon deposit). When I use Chevron, I don't get the same build up. Does that mean 76 is cleaning my engine better?

I would guess it just has something to do with the formulation of the gas. Different brands have different blends (ie different ratios of heptane, ocatane, detergents, oxygenators, etc.) which can affect the stoichiometric ratio (basically, the ideal/perfect AFR) of that given gas. Since our cars are equipped with a fueling system computer and O2 sensors, it adjusts the AFR to compensate for the different blends. So basically, your car maybe running slightly richer on one blend (hence the black carbon deposits) and leaner on the other. This doesn't necessarily mean one gas is "cleaning" your engine better than the other.

But then again, I could just be full of BS, so I will just shut-up now...
