Did the install DIY as well. Car has been running great since last April no problems. I took my time over two days to do it and followed the instructions exactly. I did the JROC at the same time. It was literally my first time wrenching on a car other than changing LEDs and taillights. I recommend reading the manual thoroughly first and fully understanding it before beginning. Have fun with it!

I got a sharpie and went through the parts that were in the plastic, labelling each one by step number. Pre-assembled the tubing so I'd understand how it went together.

Also, the way the Rotrex lines went confused me. It's

btm of reservoir -> filter -> passenger side of s/c
Driver's side of s/c -> cooler -> top of reservoir
Top of reservoir must be even with or higher than top of the s/c

I also purged the crap out of the Rotrex line. I wanted to be darn sure it didn't start dry, so I did it twice, pushing air down the reservoir & through the (loose) passenger-side banjo bolt, until there was blue oil oozing out nicely.

The only problem I had with the install was I forgot to put that big Styrofoam thing back when I put the bumper back (I had put it in the trunk for safe keeping), then the tubing around the MAF tube popped off a couple of times. Other than that, it went well

How did you finally get the tube to keep from popping* off? was it just an issue with a clamp not being correctly installed?

Also, I didn't know about that TSB! man maybe I should go do that before my install.

I won't be getting the oil cooler either. Maybe later down the road cause I don't ever plan on tracking.

You have to put the clamp "behind" the hump

Sorry I just have to clarify,

In that picture you linked, is it installed correctly or incorrectly? the clamp looks like it can be described as being in the front of the hump in that picture.

Think of the hump as something to help prevent the hose popping off. You want the clamp before the hump.

The tubes have ridges. Clamps go behind them to prevent slippage.

I think @Aaronimoe is unclear on what constitutes as "behind" or in "front" of the hump in regards to the picture.

@Bramick and @Andrew025 explained it well.

The picture looks right to me. Think about which way the hose would pop off. You'd want the clamp positioned so that the hump is hitting the clamp as it tries to slide off.

Clamping hoses on properly, and priming the SC were my biggest issues.

I use and obd2 gauge for oil temp. Don't need a boost gauge because it's an SC, you can't ever over-boost.

Don't forget accidentally opening up your AC system and flooding the garage with refrigerant

Did you confuse it with something else? which part of the install was this because I can see my self doing something like that.
