If anybody is at all interested, I wrote up my thoughts on going from an FR-S to a STI in the "vs." subforum here.

I should note that when I mention how much better the 86 community is, I specifically have you guys in mind. Even though I've only hung out a couple of awkward times (as is my way), I still make it a point to keep up with this thread and hope to shoehorn my way into a track event or something should it ever seem appropriate.

@RedLeader your home state of colorado has a bunch of your going to die soon signs. Like sever thunderstorms take caution on slippery mountain roads. Or standing water on road and right below that watch for bears. So if you do get stuck in the standing water your going to get eaten by a bear but that only happens if you don't go flying off the side of the mountain in the first place. I did have to get towed through one puddle luckily people that live up there were nice enough to help me out.

Yes, there seems to be a lot of things on the road that will kill you in Colorado. Be careful driving through, the state is on fire yet again.

A few months ago, I used an adhesive and two very thin homemade nylon washers to repair the tear, and then inserted a new fastener. It is still holding.

You really should take Brock up on his codrive offer and go rallyxing next weekend. Let him drive your BRZ at the next autox for a no cost codrive. You have to secure the codrive today since online (cheaper) reg closes Monday.

Rallyx is a freakin' blast.
