Fitment question for XXR 527

Hello everyone! I was wondering if 18x9.75 +20 (tires:235/40/18?) on the rear would work for the FR-S.... in the front i want to go for 18x8.75 +35 (Tires:225/40/18?).

I have these same wheels for use on my Supra. Unfortunately I dont think you'll have any shot at fitting the 9.75 +20 without a great deal of gaurd work, rear camber and stretch. Not worth it on a new car IMHO.

the 8.5 +35 should fit all round nicely though.

they look sweet. copy of wedsSA70 and weigh fuck all. I was considering a set of 8.5 +35 for my 86 but the wheels are on huge back order world wide so its pretty much impossible to get a set.

@spiller, Thank you for your input! I got one more question... What if i went for the +20 offset over the +30... so 18x8.75 +20 all around!

@ooharloo I cant give you an accurate comment and I havent played around with offsets on these cars myself yet but I think 8.75 +20 would be pushing it. if it was a +30 id say you'd be fine but 8.75 +35 would be the safest bet if you dont want to do any fender work (may still need a light roll depending on tyres). At the end of the day, aggressive widths and offsets work to a certain extent but it depends what sort of suspension and fender mods you're prepared to do.

@RyleyMA61 sorry mate I dont have any pics of them on the supra yet because they're still sitting in the box they came in. I have the flat black though. My brother has the gunmetal (its actually a shadow chrome - shiny finish) on his silver Evo and I would pick them over the silver (actually I dont think they offer a straight silver?). TBH though, if you really want to set the car off you cant got past black on grey!

to give you an idea of the colour scheme as my supra is a similar colour to what your 86 will be...

Also try ebay, last time I looked there were a few sets available in Aus but there was a bit of mark up on them, I think asking around 1100 for a set.

Yeah ebay there was a set... .they're gone now though?!

That 70 looks wicked... I still want one... and a MA47... and JZA80...

I reckon I might go with TSW interlagos now... Simple yet effective?! Black of course...
