Just got word I may have my car back by next thursday. But I still wont be able to do the drive with you guys up there but If I get my car back ill deffinitely be up there that saturday early morning and participate in any drive while there or back down from vegas

So I just chewed out the Hyundai Western region guy in charge of buybacks. The process for my Veloster is going by slow, but this was expected. They're waiting on a particular part that is on backorder to test the issues I've been having with my head unit thats already been replaced twice. I told him that they have one month to receive the part before I raise hell.. I just want my FRS already!

Ok we just returned from Las Vegas and the expo.we had a great time and meet a lot of people. Now that we are back we are looking to get our second meet set up. What does everyone think about this Saturday. Thinking about keeping the same location as last time or maybe moving it to the Moreno Valley area maybe off day street. That's about an hour drive for the desert guys and should be close to an hour for everyone else. I would like to see if we can find a location that is central for everone. So please chime in on this. Let try to finalize a location by Wednesday.

As far as a meet goes. Hi I'm new ^^ but I'd really like to meet other FRS and/or Scion, car enthusiasts. I get a bit jelly of my pop who just got a Jeep nearly a year ago and has hooked up on Forums like this with Jeepers XD and now goes on expeditions with them dudes and ladies out in the sticks and for a while I was like dang it I want to do that too with FRS/Scion peeps but when I see one (another FRS) I get the cold shoulder and couldn't find a group (in my area) that does this sort of thing. So Thank ya for this group, I hope to see it flourish because my Pop with the Jeep Peeps they have really good times and those good old boys are CRAZY, but way cool ^^, I'm sure you all are too.
As for Saturday, I'm down I'll just keep my eyes peeled for time and place.

Welcome! Yes, I agree with you 100% @DAMotorsports and I along with everyone on this thread are trying to make that happen. We've organized a meet and a crayon run and are in the process of doing another one aiming for the end of July. If everyone can make it out to this Saturday then I'm pretty sure @DAMotorsports and I will have the final day and time for the rim of the world canyon run. As for concerns of meeting locations. In Moreno Valley off day street they have huge parking lots that would be able to accomadate at least 40 cars without taking the business's clientele of those who are open at night. We can also just meet in highland again. Let us know what you think.

I just updated the members list in the IE chapter and we have 22 members. I will have a location for Saturdays meet by tomorrow. We will meet around 8:30 and go until everyone wants to leave. So please chime in on a location.
