@Luis_GT what about BORLA. That exhaust has the perfect sound IMO, I love it, specially when combined with corresponding header

I'm not a fan of the UEL... they sound ricey...

I've been glued to my phone all day, but nothing yet. There's a good chance I will hear first from my friend who handles PDI at this dealer. He is supposed to call as soon as the truck arrives, so I can jump on the road ASAP (1-2 hour drive, depending on traffic, from West Hollywood back to Long Beach).

well yeah! that depends on the exhaust you use. Some sound like a fart can/ can-o-beans. But others sound very mature and deep and just so awesome... go listen to @Sportsguy83 exhaust.

Wish I could find a vid with that setup plus the FA20club catted EL headers

I heard this same setup unresonated on the PEI car pictured a page or two back. Waaay too loud and ricey for me. The resonated you posted has a much smoother, lower tone like the Greddy Evo on the other FR-S pictured. Confirmed that my Perrin resonated catback sitting in the garage will be just what I want.

Most likely it had the catless front pipe as well... which is why I want to go with the catted front pipe...

catless non resonated perrin

Dam that thing is way too low and loud for my liking. Not sure why people rev so hard when their engines are still cold.

Right, the owner said catless front pipe. The video is exactly what it sounded like, over the top for my taste and the owner said he was a bit surprised at the sharp tone but got it for a FI system coming soon.

There's no benefit of going catless over a high flow cat according to nameless aside from sounding loud and ricey as hell

I don't know what your dealer is trying to charge you a higher amount for unless he has not heard this news yet. Mine just got it today because I inquired due to that link.
I spoke to someone from Scion HQ-- they told me that it should cost $1198 for this module and they could not explain to me how a dealership was making it available at a lower price. Maybe I should be some of your dealers to see what options I have...

I'm not a huge fan of the fart can sound some of the other exhausts out there have, either. I love my Milltek system--I think it sounds nice (audio samples on the 1st page, scroll down). Mine's the full system, resonated, with cat-delete and overpipe--I get a lot of complements on it, so even more seasoned enthusiasts enjoy its sound, too.

Great tone, HLM. Interesting to hear the change from low/mellow resonated to snap-crackle-pop unresonated. So glad I went resonated now.
