This is why people market turbo kits in "stages."

Agreed. I was pretty on the fence between the Premium and Limited (what put me over was that all the GBS Premiums I could find had spoilers anyway, so effectively the price difference was less). After a few months, I am annoyed when I have to drive a rental car or a borrowed car without push-button start, it feels so old fashioned. I figured in 5+ years, I'm going to be more annoyed about having cheap cloth seats that are cold all winter than I am about spending the extra thousand bucks back in 2013.

I'll never go back to cloth interior after being shocked so many times from my Gen Coupe.

And Push to Start is indeed an awesome feature. I've never had it before, but now that I do my keys never come out of my pocket.

When are they expected in? I put a refundable deposit for a '13 that is expected 8/19. Should i cancel that and preorder the 2014 if i want to be in a BRZ by october?

I believe October is when the first 14's should start arriving. The question is when will you get one with the color and options you want from your local dealer? Could be into 2014.

It all about choice, as I don't agree with you!!!!!

Next week will be one year for me owning the car, and it's a base model with and auto...............

Was at a Subaru Dealership (in Calgary) yesterday and was told that they are adding more color options for 2014 and lightning red is one of them.

This is the main reason why I bought a Limited.

<GAG> Thanks Subaru - for giving us the ugliest colour option by far.
Hopefully they will also have GBS and a totally new color or two.

Doubtful. Subaru is fairly conservative when it comes to colors. They nixed red on the WRX/STI for MY2013 and most likely MY2014. The BRZ is the only sporty red Subaru you can have at this point. None of the other reds in the Subaru line-up are very fun.

I actually have a Canadian buddy whose wife wanted a red BRZ, but since it wasn't available she's been holding off until it either does become available or just gives in to a different color.

Galaxy Blue has grown on me a bit. Once the car has been modified, it looks pretty good. On a completely stock BRZ, though, it's one of the most uninspiring colors I've ever seen.
