Well to me this this is a Toyota. Yes its built and powered by Subaru but who cares. It's heritage is an 86. So I will purchase it and then rebadge the first day I get it. "Scion GT86" just doesn't do it for me...:P Now to find inexpensive badges..lol

Can't believe it took this long for someone to bring up the Toyota 86 heritage as their reason. Makes me wonder how many people are just swapping to Toyota badges under peer pressure...

On the topic of badges, why do people on here get the "GT86" badge? I mean unless you are going for the European market look, then fine...

I bet most don't even know that GT86 only exist in Europe...

In the Japanese Domestic Market, it's just simply called "Toyota 86" (Pronounced eight-six, not eighty-six)
