Chirping seems fairly random. Not sure what the dealership put in the first tank, but no chirps. Tried Petro Ultra94, no chirps. Shell V-Power, no chirps. Maybe sorted out for '15?

I'm tuned to shell 91 so I used that mostly, but I have tried husky 94 and still do switch back and forth randomly.. The turbo likes 94 better or at least my ass dyno thinks that.. But it Chirps like crazy.. And because I worked with gas for almost 10 years I will only fill up shell or husky, maybe esso.. Never petro or any of those other stations

I use Esso 91 out of convenience and laziness and I've never got the chirps.

I am thinking of just going BBK next year partially for the looks partially so I don't have to worry about switching pads back and forth.

I have about $20k of mods on top of my car now

Well in my opinion you want something that is forgiving enough for the road but can be adjusted for the track. What's the budget?

Budget is probably $5000 for a full 4 wheel BBK next spring. Has to fit under 17" wheels though so roughly 330mm diameter rotors or smaller.

What is meant by the "chirp" you guys are referring to?
I have a '15 BRZ, and I don't think I've heard any chipping sounds before. Is it something at higher revs?

It's a high-pitched noise coming from the high pressure fuel pump, that sounds like crickets. Not a big issue, the worst it can do is annoy you.

*SOLD*

Hey I'm going to be selling my crawford BPB's, went FI so I decided not to use them. Theyre still new in box. I'm looking to get 300$ for them as they cost me about 400 CAD shipped.
Let me know if you're looking or know anyone

Here's my setup. Awesome fit and function. Highly recommended.

It's just fronts, I think rears on this car is not a big gain. But if you want to do rears a $5k budget will do it for ya.

Let me know if you like them and I can hook you up.

I really like the AP/Essex kits but I think I need to get something with a coated caliper just in case I might have to drive my car on the odd winter/wet day.

Nice but 336mm is really pushing 17" wheel fitment.

I am leaning towards going with the basic 4 wheel Brembo kit with silver calipers for my Lightning Red car.
