When I had this issue of it squeaking when it was wet I took it back and told them and they told me there was a service bulletin on the window trim to replace it. Once they replaced it the noise was gone! Haven't heard it since

what i do: when i wash my car, i roll the windows all the way down and take a microfiber between the weatherstrips (inner and outer) and wipe dry - fixes that and those two ugly vertical lines that appear all the EFFING time.
The TSB is only valid for vins up to June 14. Ones made after that already have the changed seals and rollers straight from the factory.

Is this only for dry windows? Mine squeak, but only when wet. I didn't really like the idea of the dealer ripping open my doors anyways.

My window squeeks like a mother fucker for at least a a few days after a wash.

Doesn't bother me that much though.

If it was a fancy european car I might take it to the dealer, but it's a Japanese sportscar. You get what you pay for.

Glass moving over rubber can squeak. I recommend burning the car in rage.

From what I have read about and experienced there are two totally different causes for the "squeaks".
There are two different TSBs that apply to all cars up to the early 2014 run for the worst case scenario where the glass shudders and you get the loud squeal. It is a good idea to have these done as they involve lifters and guides that could cause a major issue down the road.

The other cause is just the glass rubbing against the stripping. This can be fixed/reduced by simply using a good vinyl treatment on the seals and isn't really a risk of problems.

This. I have an early car assembled in mid 2012 and it's always squeaked at that point wet or dry. Some days it's more noticeable, other days it doesn't happen.

OP I would concern yourself more with opti coating the car or getting protective film because you will wish you had it.

I know I do.

Squeaking I'm sure you can live with, but if it starts to shudder when going up or down get the seals replaced. I have read elsewhere that the shuddering will eventually break the window motor.
