That car looks amazing, as though it just came out from a black river, so glossy and Batmobile like!

So I just got xxr 527 17×8.25 +35 all the way around and I went to get a price for tires and they said no tire fits. What tires are you guys with this setup running, and do you have any problems rubbing? I'm still on stock suspension

I got mine a week ago with the exact size but haven't installed it. Planning to put the stock tires on it and the setup works since a few other members had the same set up. I rather not buy new tires yet since I still have lots of tread left on the primacys. I think any tire width from 215 to 235 should be fine.

Ya I said about using the stock tires, and they told me that would be to much stretch, but I thought a few people were using stock tires. My tires only have 200 miles on them so I wouldn't mind using the stock ones.

Yea 225/45 will work, that's probably the minimum I would recommend. You shouldn't see any problems when lowering though.

Skimmed through a lot of the pages of this thread but I couldn't quite find a definitive answer to a question I have.

I have a set of RCE Yellows (.8" drop) and am seriously considering getting a set of XXR 527 in 17x8.25 +35. I am looking at going with Michelin Pilot Super Sports in 235/45/17's or 245/40/17's.

I am aware about the tire spec's and what not. Specs say, I should go with the 245/40/17's. If I go with those tires, should I go with the XXR 527's in 17x8.75 +35 instead? Would the 17x8.25 +35 be just fine?

I have a set of SPC Camber Bolts and SPC Adjustable Rear LCA's that needs to be installed as well. I'm going for the alignment specs close to -2.0 Front and -1.5 Rear. Supposedly, using the SPC Camber Bolt on the bottom, and using the 14mm OEM bolt from the bottom and switching it with the top 16mm bolt will give me more camber than the -1.2 to -1.5 camber that the SPC Camber Bolt originally allows for when the instructions are followed....that is, replacing the bottom bolt with the SPC Camber Bolt and leaving the 16mm bolt up top.

About me and my car's purpose:

The car is a daily driver and when there's no traffic, I take corners on the more aggressive side. I also go on cruises where people go 8/10-9/10's. Also, I'm waiting on a supercharger which is one of the reasons I would like to get wider wheels/tires for the car.

I live in California. I don't have to worry about snow as much and if it gets too cold, I don't have a problem taking my NC MX5 (I have Michelin Pilot AS3's on it).

Thoughts? Thanks in advance =^_^=
