I, too, am thinking about getting these coilovers this summer and hopefully hear someone chime in with a personal review.

I have the dampening set in the middle, feels pretty comfortable. Little rough on the pots holes. I'm glad I bought them

I have a set of these coilovers, I got them at a good price like some of you mentioned, so I gave it a shot.
I have commuted to work on these for about 6 months and have done a track day in them. From factory the setting is pretty stiff and harsh, I called apexi and they recommended to put the dampening at halfway. Halfway feels a bit stiffer than stock with better dampening on the bumps and rough stuff and I'm pretty happy with that for everyday. On track they feel great, I ran NJMP's Lightning course. I was about 4 clicks away from full stiff, could have probably went one click softer as I was getting a bit more aggressive on the curbs later in the day. The endlinks the kit came with where a bit questionable, so I opted for a set of perrin endlinks instead. Overall I'm happy with this product, It's made in taiwan probably alongside the Meagan's, the casing and overall design is very similar, but with completely different internals.* Tires used 255/40/17 BFG Rival. |
