Hey it isn't that bad But funny enough, I saw on craigslist a guy selling a 2013 frs with a stage 1 turbo.. from Windsor. I was tempted... but opted for a new frs.

It's not blatant misinformation because it has happened. I'm glad your's has worked well for you, but just because your's has gone smoothly doesn't mean it is flawless. I've heard and seen enough negative things about OFT for me not to use it.

Im sure it helps with breathing though

Ever since I installed the K&N drop in, my 86 is noticeably louder now compared to stock when accelerating. As far as power gains, I've noticed a better/quicker response on the accelerator. So there might be some minimal power gain? :Iono:

But to the OP, the K&N Drop in filter IMO is a good $40-$50 mod...Just my .02 cents. You still have plenty of $ to move around for other mods.

I wasn't knocking it or anything, I love my K&N definitely worth the small investment

I bought a SuperTek air filter very similar to K&N a couple years back because it was only $25 and i have a lease so i wouldn't want to drop a ton of money into it

but i have K&N on all my other vehicles...can never go wrong with K&N

Although that's enticing to him probably it's definitely not going to be a $500 flip.

For under$500, get a roof spoiler ($100 - $300) aero stabilizer cover (trim piece between the trunk lid and window where lots of small leave's) ($100 -$200), and side widow wind deflectors, $100 - $300). Add some decals and you should be done.
