Cool Just picked up a 2023 Subaru BRZ Limited 6MT!

What's good fam! I had a 2013 BRZ back when they first came out, had a few cars since then...

I decided to get another BRZ because it was such a fun and enjoyable car.

Let me tell you the 2023 BRZ is the best yet, they refined this car and did an amazing job, and the added displacement really makes a huge difference.

What are the first mods everyone has done?

I didn't let them drill the front bumper, so I'm going to do a tow hook front license plate mount, probably some titanium tire air caps, I really hate the tint that came from the factory, but I didn't have a choice, so I might get some better tint.

Anyways, stay blessed, glad to be back in a Subaru.

5% tint all around, airbagz, cheesy looking chrome wheels on stretched tires, camber gang style and slammed, underglow neon lights undercarriage, straight pipe with tomei rear muffler, and a windshield banner that says "brz boiz."

That's a good start fam...just joking

Unplug the fake engine noise to start and enjoy

My 2022 had the metal threaded inserts in the front for the license plate, but the spacing does not match the holes on the plate. Rather than drill out where the dimples are, I drilled new holes in the license plate and got the appropriate stainless steel screws that fit the threads. The dealer already screwed on a license plate frame on the back. In place of the two upper mounting screws, I used two stainless 'Well Nuts', the ones that have the expanding rubber grommets. Using machine screws makes for a cleaner fit. Self-tapping screws could strip out.

Congratulations on the new BRZ! I have a red one on order. Mods? I’m looking at different wheels, to start. I really like the looks of these Klutch machined ones. Here’s what they look like on an older BRZ.

You could have used Subaru bracket that allows to use those holes and not drill new ones.

My list of "mods"
1. Turn of fake engine noise
2. Added spare
3. PPF, legal tint on windows, windshield tinted 80% blue (not so legal) (mainly for track use)
4. STI flex bar (not much difference in feel)
5. GR86 mudguard
6. LEDs
7. JDM side marker
8. Camber bolts and then alignment
9. Brake pads and fluid

I already had port installed short shifter, STI knob, interior blue light, auto dimming rear view mirror etc

I found that doing a cat-back exhaust really woke up the car for me. Stock it was just too quiet. Its nice because 1st gen cat-backs fit, so there's lots of options out there.

Do you have any pictures? Luckily I didn't let them screw up the front, but the back was already drilled. Thinking about how I can fix that.
