My MR2 Spyder(2100lbs) gets great gas mileage, is still faster(an estimated 160HP and 7 sec to 60) than most production cars, especially around a track, and is still more fun than my 330HP G37 Coupe (which is 2 seconds faster to 100MPH than an STI and 5 seconds faster to 130).
With the price of gas and $80 fill ups on My G37, I'm in as long as they keep the weight down. 200HP is plenty if they keep it light. |

These run in the same class (SS) at auto-x and club racing, no offense, but the ZO6 and even ZR-1's are typically bested by the lotus cars. So the slapping around just seems like you're being defensive. Both are great cars.

Wow that's pretty horrible.
The tail lights are all jacked up, the "hips" are almost completely gone, and the stance is so jacked up that it's funny. The offset is all wrong...and they're doing suspension testing like that, which implies it'll probably COME like that. If it does I won't buy it. |

There is no way in hell a stock lotus elise/exige can stand against a Z06/ZR1. These cars are not muscle cars.

True, to certain point. Z06 ran 7:59 vs Exige S ran 8:25 in Nur. That's a big difference to sum ppl... or it could be small difference to sum ppl |

To everyone whining that it's sooooo ugly, bland, I'm getting car X instead etc. Please remember:
THIS IS STILL JUST A TEST MULE We have no idea what they are testing: braking, handling, engine etc. All three concepts are close enough in dimensions that they could slap any one of the three shells on top of these mechanicals that they are testing. Wait for the production mode reveal and test drive before making half mis-informed conclusions. |

What are you talking about it's my age? Do you even know my age? All you know is that I'm not under 26y/o. Edit: just did an online quote for a 2011 G37 coupe and guess what, the most basic would run me $22/month and full coverage would run me $92/month. |

We're talking track or auto-x 1 mile or under, loys of cornering. I don't drive ether, and they do all the time. The Exige S bests the ZR-1 and the normal Elise and Exige best the Z06. Most of the time at that.

Much better, but I think a tad optimistic.
I can pic up most of the lines, but the one that runs along the sde at the bottom I'm just not seeing and I think that lines makes all the difference as to whether the side look is more MkI/MkIII that MkII/Dull-ugly. |
