Pro kit Vs Sportline
Until i can save the money for coilovers. I am planning to purchase lowering springs. So far Eibach is what is on top of my list. Just wondering what are the differences between the Prokit and sportline?
And if someone had experience with both of them.. Or if there is any other lowering springs you would recommend and why?... Thanks in advance... |

What are you looking for in a spring? Looks or a big drop? Ride quality? Handling?

We make our own RCE Yellow springs. Drop is 20mm, just under an inch.
Ride quality and handling were our priority and the result is very good. Very carefully chosen spring rates and the mild drop helped us improve handling over stock. We also include shortened bumpstops front and rear. Made in the USA. If you must have a bigger drop, the Eibachs are a good choice. - andrew |

The Pro-Kit lowers the front by about 1.0-1.2 inches and the rear by about 1.2-1.3 inches While the Sportline lowers the front and rear by about 2.0 inches. The Pro-Kit is good for a small drop and nice ride handling. The Sportline is a bigger drop to help reduce body roll. If you are looking for a quality drop Eibachs are pretty good brand to go with. Hope this helps!

I have the Sportlines installed. IMO give the car a nice drop. Driving isn't really bouncy at all, very happy with them. Here's a pic...

The Eibach site has it listed at 1 inch front and back for the Pro-Kit and 1.4 inches front and back for the Sportline. Hopefully this clarifies any confusion.
