I will be installing my v3 w/ flash editor soon... What's the biggest thing about this install that I should look out for or be prepared for?

How many of you swapped out your plugs at the same time? Did y'all work from the top or the bottom?

I read I'll need some air tools...I believe they are a die grinder and cutter... anything else?

thanks in advance

Has anyone got this kit without the tune and had your own tune done? Im curious as I already have a tune on mine for the delicious ethanol module. Wondering if I could just have a tune done to work with that since its already on the car,

You can get the base version without tuner and get it tuned elsewhere

Hello, I´m sending the greeting from the middle of Europe . Here is my dyno: 270 hp at 6500 rpm. I can´t tell if I have v2 or v3 kit because mine is from japan and they use slightly different naming... I have injectors upgrade kit with bigger restrictor plate, Miltek primary catback resonated exhaust and stock headers.

I have few questions on you guys since you have way more experiences than we have here...

1) I want to buy HKS EL headers - do you think it is ok with this kit? How much hp can I expect (with ECU remap)? Will the car be any louder with this headers?
2) What sparkplugs do you use?
3) Is that restrictor plate any good or can it be safely removed?
4) I´m having difficulties starting the car when it is really hot (I mean when I drive it hard) - any tips on that?
5) I dont like stock throttle map with is too agresive when you push the pedal only slightly - have somebody tried to change the map with ECUtek?

Thank you and happy Easter!

Currently on our shop FRS we have seen 319 on E85. This is with the stock motor. If you were to do a capacity upgrade kit, you should be able to see around the 350 mark.

Unfortunately we do not have any updates at this time. I may have more information later this week after our meeting today, but I cannot promise anything.

You certainly can use a different tuning software than what is provided on the flash editor!

Please let us know asap! I'm sure they're are a lot of 2015+ owners that are dying to get their hands on this kit that just want a install, flash and go system (myself included haha)

+1 I'm curious about expected power gains with the header and v2/3 after a tune
