P0341 after flashing back to stock from ecutek

Hi everyone,

i had my motor blow on me a few months back and finally got the car up and running as of 3 weeks ago. everything was installed correctly, but there is a P0341 CEL for camshaft position sensor bank 1. the timing chain is not off, we tripled checked before putting the timing cover back on. the tech that worked on my car has a boosted twin and we did everything correctly to revert the tune back onto my car to stock. we cant seem to figure out what the issue is but i was thinking that it could be the sprocket.

i do have cold start and idle issues as well. half the time i start the car in the morning, the revs will jump to 2000rpm, then drop down to 500 and studder a little and rev back up to 2000rpm. if i let the car idle for about a minute, the revs start bouncing from 1500rpm to 1000rpm back and forth repeatedly until i turn the car off and restart it.

More than once, I've see the cam plate behind the flywheel not being centered properly being the culprit of timing codes. That plate has a key hole to align properly, but it can be forced, with little effort, to be misaligned even if the flywheel bolts right up.

If you troubleshoot the cam sprockets and OCVs and they check out to be fine, consider that plate might not be installed correctly. It would be awesome but unlikely if the tech took pictures of the plate after reinstall. It would require transmission and clutch/FW removal to inspect.
