My baby's first wax job!

Just finished the pain staking process of hand waxing my FR-S. I didn't use anything fancy, just some old school turtle wax that I had but it looks amazing and the paint is super smooth. I backed it out into the sun to get some good pictures!

It looked so good, I got a reward!!

It does looks sharp, a fine color indeed. A few questions though; the trunk isnt closed right? Is that VHT nightshade? And what lunatic tried serving you the end slice for your sammy?

BTW next time you spend such a process on the car I suggest a little more advanced wax so you get more out of your effort, but once again it does look hot.

1. the trunk isnt closed right? I think it was popped. After I saw the picture I went out just to make sure it was shut!

2. Is that VHT nightshade? Yes it is, it was redone after the original application because I made it too dark. It also has the VHT quick clear on it. Here's the thread I made about it. Tinted Taillights

3. what lunatic tried serving you the end slice for your sammy? That would be me lol, the bread I get (Martin's Potato Bread ftw) has just the right amount of slices to make 5 sets of 2 sandwiches but only if I use the ends!

Next time I do the car it will get the whole treatment, clay bar, premium wax ect, but the buddy of mine that has all that stuff and helps me do it for the price of lunch is away at police academy atm and I just couldn't wait that long to not have wax on it at all. But I really need to get some tire shine, I was never really a fan until I got this car, makes all the difference with a darker color!

Looking good, that tint on the rear lights looks perfect on the Asphalt color.
