My wife was right

She's been calling my FR-S my midlife crisis since I bought it.

And that is quite OK.

Better she thinks your FR-S is your mid life crises, rather than the pretty co worker of yours -

yeah....

IMO the defacto midlife crisis cars are a Corvette or some model of Porsche (not the SUV or Panamera, those are just rich people cars).

I hate it when somebody that knows me well calls it a "mid life crisis" car. If they know what I have driven all my life then they should know my crisis started at about 14 years old and has nothing to do with my current age.
Now if tomorrow I run out and buy a Buick THEN it would be a mid life crisis since my pattern would have changed dramatically.

I agree...I have always driven small, sporty cars. This is my "All-life crisis".

When I have my mid life crisis, i'm probably going to get a gt3rs just to keep up with the jones' in my neighborhood. it's getting crazy where i live. lambos being driven by kids with new driver signs and g-wagons coming home at 3am in the morning with teen girls overflowing out of it with one guy driver decked out givenchy and saint laurent man satchel. The clothes on his back is probably worth more than my FR-S

wtf is this world coming to.
