Limited rear wing, aero benefits?

I'm actually more of a fan of the duckbill type wings that are being added to the premiums and FRS trunks than the limited wing, but not enough of a fan to change if there was some aero benefit to the limited rear wing. Does our wing garner extra downforce at higher speeds? More stability? Anything?

I haven't read anything about this yet, if anyone has any insight please share!

Street car wings are usually just for looks.
If I remember right the big ass wing on a supra only provided about 50LBS at 100MPH.

The Supra wing was 66lbs at 90mph, thank you very much.

About 160lbs at 135mph, so not completely for looks...

Anyways, you guys have the BRZ wing info spot on!

the factory (limited) spoiler LOWERS drag coefficent by .01, What this does is allows the car to slip through air more better by decreasing the level wake behind the car.

THIS DOES NOT ADD DOWNFORCE!

It improves straight line speed, top speed, and stability

(picture below is a part study, it has listed the cd=0.27 but its incomplete article..the picture should represent .29)

I wish they'd post detailed information about the aerodynamic results of the Subaru Diffuser and TRD diffuser. I'd like to know if they actually accomplish anything or not. And I want an option for full under-body cladding!
