Official Power Figures for the Dodge Challenger Hellcat. 707 HP!

Dodge just released this video for the Challenger Hellcat and they dropped a big bombshell. Their new engine makes 707 HP, which is much more than the Viper's V10. What do you guys think of it?

Like most american muscle: GT500 and its varients, zl1, previous challengers/chargers... HP has never been the issue.

Its been putting it down and going in any direction other than a straight line.

I am sure the torque that engine produces will be great in burn out competitions and the like.

In a fat car you can't turn. 707 is impressive though

I bet everyone who buys one will be so sad that it "can't turn."

Or, to be more realistic, I really bet that they give absolutely zero shits about people on the internet going on about how their car doesn't handle as well as something else. Because they've got 700 horsepower on tap. Seven hundred! Abso-fucking-lutely ridiculous! Even if it does weigh 2 tons like the SRT8 it still has under 6lb to push per horsepower.

The choice of music was extremely unfortunate.

The video clip of the car driving down a twisty road was very obviously sped up.

Really? I figured that particular Mötley Crüe song was perfect for this.

Crazy numbers although not really useful in the real world.

Comes with 2 keys, black one gives you 500hp, red on gives the full 707.
