What do you think of the Firestorm Red FR-S - Page 8 - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

Red is nice because it makes the car look more like an exotic(Ferrari). The only thing that's not good about it is that it's a flat out red without pearl. If you care about glitter paint then the white does offer some pearl.

I almost budged and bought a BRZ - they're 30% more than the Toyota 86 in this part of the world. That's what stopped me. Delivery times would have been a week on a BRZ, as opposed to the 10 months I have been waiting for my Toyota, though. And extended warranties, Alcantara seats and the whole option sheet checked.

About the silver - I don't know - I've seen it IRL (unlike the Firestorm, Raven, Tarmac and Ultramarine - what can I say - these cars are RARE here), and i just found it too every day, where the White has a bit of soul thanks to the pearl.

Same ones mine came with. They were a dealer installed option.

Red colour looks vivid and light when you keep it clean, and when it is sunny. When it is cloudy and there is some dirt on it, it _can_ look darker and not that nice.
For me it matches nicely with red stitching and alcantara. I like it!

Firestorm was my first preference. It wasn't available, so I went with what was. No regrets, but I wouldn't have had any if I'd ended up with Firestorm either. It's a great color.

They aren't really fogs, they are LED DRLs. I got them on this board from one of the vendors. Search for them in the Groupbuys or Classified lighting section.

So to install them i would need to have the foglight option added and use those wires right?

Nope. Not to thread-jack this more than it is, but I believe there are three different ways they can be wired (its been a while, dont quote me). 1: "On" with both parking lights and headlights, 2: "On" with parking lights and "dim" with headlights, 3: "On" with ignition.

There is a great DIY somewhere 'round here.
