I'm actually headed to North Jersey this weekend and have two spare stock rims with good tires between 1000-2000 miles on them (mounted but no TPMS sensor). Shoot me a PM if you are interested. Not trying to make a killing, but I'd happily sell a wheel/tire for less than you'd be able to source the tire alone for locally.

Maybe you want both so you can have a full size spare for those jersey potholes.
Thanks for the offer. I already ordered a replacement tire from Costco. My stock rims/tires only have 1750 miles on them so it made sense to just replace the single tire. I got a response to call the claims department tomorrow so hopefully I'll get some compensation.

Glad you didn't get hurt or damage your car.

I'm assuming you didn't get the road hazard coverage.

No road hazard coverage. I've never needed it. 20 years of driving and this is the first time I've gotten a flat.

I bought into it and a few other things. I don't normally but figured this one is the one I'll keep forevers

I just swapped out my RPF1's last night just in case something like this happens.

I went through 3 tires in 3 years in my last car due to the junk littering NJ's roads. I wish I had gotten it on that car, those tires were $350 a piece.

Already filed a complaint with NJ DOT since it was on a state highway. Calling their claims department tomorrow.

Right at the Applegarth and Butcher Road intersection. They're doing a lot of work in that area with the Wawa/gas station being built and the road being widened.

LOL. . .yeah. . I got the tire ordered yesterday. Has to ship to the store first though. Got my claim form from NJ DOT today as well. Just have to wait to get the tire replaced first so I can mail in a copy of the receipt as well.
