Trying to get the Stg 2 upgrade actuator installed today. Looks like it is a bit too short to reach the wastegate lever. When swapping the longer arm from the Stg 1 actuator over, it is too long. Does this look like the right actuator, or am I missing something?

I'll tell ya, when I got the 8psi it came with the shorter arm also but the rod was the same length as the 6psi. I swapped the short for the long and if fit. Sorry to say yours looks a bit different.

I just had the exact same problem.....had to contact paul at Avo to send me the proper arm. I don't understand...if this is the upgrade for the kit why is it wrong.

Mine didn't come with an arm. I figured I just swapped the original over. Works perfect for me

I feel like we are all getting mismatched stuff. I tried swapping the longer arm on to it but the hole was smaller

Well, my turbo was installed Thursday and I made it until Sunday morning before an exhaust leak developed.

When the car starts after sitting for about an hour or longer, it sounds like a turboprop plane for about 30 seconds until I assume things heat up and expand a little to seal it. This is with the Forester XT gaskets recommended in the owners thread.

I was so happy when it was initially installed without one problem. I hope after tightening it down again it will be fully set in place.
