I don't understand how every says these are hideous and ricer'ish but are ok with the fake lambo Buddy Clubs, cheap looking Valenti and Spyder super riceball tails.
The Intec are much cleaner and more reserved. They're less ricer than the stock tails.

This actually looks ok, but would look better (to me) on a stock rear free of any spoiler.

On a side note, I've been slowly falling in love with the clean spoiler free boot on the twins.

The inspiration is irrelevant.
The Lamborghini design does not go well with the design of the rest of the car.

We can debate this forever since looks are subjective.
The only fact is the Buddy Clubs are a hideous tacky monstrosity.

Exactly. Pretty much every other taillight I can justify the existence of because they at least attempt to either resemble the stock taillight design or flow with the car's curvaceous nature.

The Buddy Club taillights were jacked from a much, much more angled car design that doesn't go at all with the Twins' design. I'm fairly open to a lot of designs no matter how drastically different they are (there's a set of taillights that make the rear of these cars look exactly like Grumpy Cat), but the Buddy Club's since Day 1 are the ONLY taillights that made me LOL. I had faith in the community's ability to overlook them as completely uninspired ripoffs.

My faith is gone.

I'm a pretty laid back guy and don't have very strong opinions about most things, but the Buddy Club's rub me the wrong way particularly. I can see how someone wouldn't like the INTEC taillights (or any taillights, really). I hated them when I first saw them months ago. However, I didn't come into this thread and dump all over them. It's fine if you don't like something, but at least explain your reasoning.

I find the INTECs kinda freaky, making the rear look a bit buggy, but it's much less pronounced in black, which is why I'm heavily considering them.
