Picture of my Intec high mount brake light. Pretty pleased with the end result, though I wish the wiring could be tucked better. As it is, there's a little less than an inch of exposed wire before it could be tucked under the headliner and ran behind the C-Pillar plastics and under the deck lid. Another plus is that the included felt covers up all the holes from the stock brake light very well and is a super close match to the OEM fabric. Excuse the dirty car. Winter has come and I only wash once a week.

I have a test pipe (different make) fitted, rest of the exhaust is completely standard. The sound is very slightly louder and slightly more raspy at the top end. No drone, no ricer noises. I installed for performance not for noise. It is most noticeable on cold start. I imagine removing the muffler in combination would be very loud though

I am currently running a catback with the test pipe. To be honest I would try the muffler delete first on your car since it's the easiest to install. If it's too loud for you remove the muffler delete revert to stock and run just the test pipe. Also one thing to keep in mind with the muffler delete it will be super loud at first but once exhaust soot settles in it the volume will turn down slightly. I had one on my car previously. I used three different bits to drill out the stock brake light. I didn't want to damage anything too badly for a "just in case scenario". I should be able to reinstall the stock one if I have to. Just gotta make sure you have a big enough bit to drill through the entire rivet. |

WHAT DID YOU DO TO YOUR FRS TODAY?
Installed the Invidia N1 Catback and Invidia Catless Front Pipe last night. Couldn't be happier with the outcome..
