And likely to get deeper. I have a list of other vehicles I'm looking for to become the next project(s) after the Jeeps are finished. Since I was 14 years old I have wanted a 1959 or 1960 Austin Healey Sprite, and one day the right one will find me. I had a Triumph TR6 when I was 16, and I'd like to have another 6 cylinder Triumph, either a TR6, GT6 or (holiest of holies) TR250. I also do a regular search for a Kaiser M715 (the military ragtop version of my Gladiator) and a ~1948 Dodge W300 Power Wagon. I would also like to find some old muscle, either a ~1971 Buick Riviera "Boat Tail" or a late '60s AMC straight-fender Javelin for use when I need to move more than two people in style and comfort.

And I would like to find a shell of an AMC Eagle SX4, a "Jeep car." It's not much to look at, but that car was a compact two door with a big AMC six cylinder motor mated up to a four wheel drive system on truck axles. I would like to find a shell to drop an LS into and set the suspension up as an LCOG offroad vehicle, basically a poor man's Rally Fighter.

Too many dreams. Not enough time or cash.

In 1980 or 81 I towed a perfectly functional M715 to the middle of an artillery range where they promptly targeted it and blew it to tiny bits. I think I shed a tear as I was driving away and thinking of it's fate.

As kid there was a 195? Powerwagon that sat in the back field of our house for about 6 years or so. My father was always going to "fix it up" but the reality was we used it to play armymen until it was eventually sold as scrap (along with a 52 Buick convert, 63 T Bird, 55 Chev wagon, 57 Fairlane and a 1938 school bus).

In 82 or so I owned a 72 Riviera GS for about a week. Bought for $800 replaced the driver's floor pan and discovered a badly rotted frame and sold for $900.

Bought an 81 Eagle SX4 for the wife in 93 (to replace her dead Pacer). Paid $300 for it from a friend of a friend. I loved that thing but she hated it with a passion. It lasted about a year before a cylinder punched a hole through the head. Still got $500 for it though. Used the $500 to buy her an 82 Concord.

Hit much of your list over the years!

I am glad I am not the only person with this problem.
I park on flat land in my work car park, usually have to use my laptop bag to hold the door open while I get out with my coffee and other crap.

Think this weekend I will investigate if there is a fix for this at all..
Would go back to Subaru, but they would probably tell me that its cause I have put headers on.

I have worked out the issue..

I tinted my windows, obviously the extra weight has caused the problems.

Warranty void.

How am I now just seeing this thread? I F***ING hate this about the BRZ. Like, no matter what space or distance away i push the door open, it will come back with a bloody vengeance. Like, let me get tf out of my car you POS door. God, it makes me so angry. Nothing would make me trade this in more than this door, truly a huge pet peeve.

rant over..

It's true. The dynamat adds 5 pounds. Didn't design for that.
