The CISO's reaction to me explaining how much it will cost to track all of those KPIs Gartner told him to report on.

As I get older, one of my KPI's is having a good BM at least once a day.

So your KPI for your colon is number of bowl movements, and you ideal frequency is 1 per day. What do you do if you don't meet expectations? Back when I was working, someone was going to be reamed out by management.

Way back when I was a PT working in a hospital, we would often see patients to get them up and moving after surgery. One of the side effects of general anesthesia and pain meds is constipation. And it can be bad. Sometimes just getting them up and about would free things up along with a Fleet's.

It didn't work with this on guy. I had seen him in the morning. We walked around a bit with no results. When I went back in the afternoon the poor nurses were performing a digital disimpaction ( yes, use your imagination). I left rather quickly.

So yes, you can get reamed out by management.

With 13 surgeries so far, I'm well aware of the effects.
