OK, seriously, what are you guys doing to your tires? I mean it's not like the Twins are burnout machines.
I'm genuinely curious. I've never replaced a set of tires at under 15K miles, maybe one or two if it was punctured or defective.

Took it out for a night drive, did not crash but the new vland headlights are aimed way too low... Thank god for high beams
Stopped to get gas and the pumps were already turned off so I guess they decided to close early. 25k doesn't seem outrageous for 240tw tires but 3 sets in general makes me wonder if a component to that is suspension wear

Well, most of the miles on my car are from when I lived in the Bay area and had the Santa Cruz mountains in my back yard with some of the best mountain roads in the country. I also run performance summer tires. I've only really had 2 sets I guess. I got rid of the stock tires and rims at just a few hundred miles in. (Gave them to a friend with a Prius). My first set of performance tires lost all grip before I was even at the wear bars. So I'm really on my second set.

Could be a poor choice of tires on my last set, BFGoodrich G-Force Comp 2 A/S Plus. |

My wife took the twin out shopping yesterday, did not crash. However, while she was in the store, someone else did crash, into my car. They hit the passenger rear corner, took a bit of paint off. Of course no note, no nothing from whoever hit it. Sometimes I really hate people.

He was not happy and tried to deny responsibility but his wife forced him to admit it. They had only two stipulations. First that we not go through our insurance company. Second that we take it to the body shop of their choosing for the repairs. She contacted them at the scene and we drove straight over to the shop after exchanging all info. They knew we were coming and did the estimate and got the parts on order. Here’s the sad truth of this incident, the body shop knew these people because they had just finished paying to repair their son’s Mustang. This same guy who hit the wife’s Crosstrek had backed into his son’s car in their own driveway.
