Also say if his interest rate is super high can get a lower rate after paying on time for x amount of months? Wow I have no clue-its too late for this. I'll do a Google search in the am. Just wanted anyone's. 02 cents

I know this might sound harsh but I was like your friend too, From my younger days I thought that getting things on credit was OK and so what if I missed a payment. Well the result was bad credit and after 5 years I have completely changed my whole outlook on finance quick brief.

When I was with my Ex partner we brought a house together but due to my credit I could not go on the mortgage and was paying the whole thing off while she barely worked, relationship was doomed and should not even had agreed to look at a house with the psycho but can't change that, anyway we broke up and I was still living with her (Not recommended at all) that is when I started the relationship with my now Wife after moving out and the Psycho kept the house and then sold it after I left and kept every cent.

My wife has a degree in Economics and is all about the finances hates spending money (Yes a woman who hates spending money especially yours now you know why I married her and she's HOT ) due to her she has taut me if I do not have the money then I can not buy it well after 5 years of bad credit and learning how to save money I have been able to go overseas at least twice a year, buy TV's, white goods, pay for a wedding in Fiji and honeymoon and have nearly a years salary in savings without getting credit it can be done.

Due to this I felt it was right for me to get a loan for my 86 (can pay it off tomorrow) but it was this hard lesson that I have been through that taught me these things and how to really earn the things that I want in life and it also makes me appreciate these things more.

I am not saying that getting a loan or a lease is a bad thing but getting one once you have been educated well in finance it really helps to never find yourself in the position of bad credit.

It took my wife to show me this and maybe you might be the person to help your friend I know that I appreciated the help more than the items that I have purchased.

This might not apply to your friends situation but if it does just some food for thought.

P.S if I sound like anyone's parents sorry.

I learned this lesson pretty early in life, and it's what irritates me about things today. So many are using credit to evaluate a person's ability to pay. If I've paid everything so far in cash or in full, that shouldn't penalize me. Then you run into these cases where you know for a fact you shouldn't drop $24k in a hot second and feel that you want to keep a cushion should something else happen; you then need credit. These agencies then take advantage of that fact and ream you for it....pisses me off.

Fortunately I side stepped that with the graduate discount, but really....the fact I own what I own and haven't needed credit in addition to my current financial standing (checking / savings / etc) should speak just as loudly as someone who has been milking some line of credit.

anyway /rant

@monkie I'm really glad you found someone better who was able to help you out in learning as well I am currently trying to help my mom(no success) but my friend should listen better. He got a credit card when he was younger and thought of it as "free money" in the sense he didnt have to pay it back right away. I was telling him about how since he doesn't have good credit he should put down a good down payment and I think he said he'll have 6k saved up...he even went to say if he needed to he could borrow money from his 401. o boy, so I was like "you cant do that!" and told him he needs to start saving better, he fact that I make way less than him and will have over 20k in june and he will only have 6? yeah thats pretty bad. He went crazy around christmas and got his friends very expensive gifts(at the time we had a falling out, but things are good now)
Its so weird...him and my mom have the same mentality "lets borrow from our 401 we dont need to save" meanwhile I'm in extreme budget-hiding under a rock mode.
It breaks my heart seeing my mom spend her money so carelessly when I'm doing my absolute best to save. I want to have enough money to get her a car but I don't know. Carlos(my father) owes her money so she feels as if she doesnt need to save, my car is such a piece of crap I dont even think the dealer will accept it as a trade in. And I have no idea how to go about making a used car purchased? How many miles are too much? Will I get taken advantage of? can I haggle? Is there anything out there for 6 thousand dollars? -sigh-
I guess Ill worry about it when the time comes.
But what you said about learning how to save-it really encourages me that maybe Ill be able to teach my mom and friend better

It's so hard to find good looking body kits in my opinion...the 5AD is nice but super expensive....and there are a lot of good looking lip kits/front bumpers but people have no fucking clue how to make a simple side skirt....like why have a side skirt that just sticks out horizontally?!?

While watching some trailer this quote was stated:
"...most influenced anime series of all time, Dragon Ball..."

Not sure, on MOST influenced, but will say it's MOST famous anime series of all time

I have a feeling he didn't give them the okay to use the photos mainly because the quality isn't as good as the ones he posted. *shrugs?*

Yeah I actually really like that kit. I also like the VIS kit, although not many people have it :/ I'm not sure which I'd get first, wheels or a body kit...body kits are a lot more expensive :/ This is my first black vehicle and I kind of want to channel the look of the black civics of the first fast and furious movie (minus the neon). That chargespeed wing....

Actually this car is also on the stillen site....hmmmm:
http://www.stillen.com/product/body-...22f-99824.html

Also holy MSRP batman this is a lot cheaper than a lot of other kits....

Anyway. People are having a surprisingly positive reaction to my facial hair, even my girlfriend liked it. Guess I'm keeping it till I head home again
