Slight window leak after car wash

Didn't see anyone else posting about this so I'm starting a new thread but has anyone else had a few streams of water drip down the inside of the windows after a touchless gas station car wash?

The design of the one I went to has a big frame of pressure sprays that you get pulled through so there is one going pretty much horizontal directly into the seal but I'm still concerned there's a bit of a leak anyway

If no one else is experiencing this I might bring it up with the dealer but I have a feeling getting the seal replaced will probably just make it worse?

but I am experiencing a lot of moisture build up where the window hits the rubber and with the change in temps here it does build up and then freeze. I haven't had my windows get stuck yet, just a little hesitation and it'll power through to open.. but thats probably making my seal even weaker

is it the driver's side? right where the big window meets the smaller triangular window?

i turned my car in to the dealer last week when discovering the leak while washing my car. they had to keep my car for a few hours and they ordered a new weather strip for me. the weather strip or door seal was also folding upwards in the middle where the window would make contact with it. hopefully the new strip will solve both the leaking and folding issue and not return.

driver side and passenger side. The passenger side has leaking closer to the smaller triangle window, the driver side has leaking right down the middle.

I don't have any folding that I can see but would appreciate it if you can keep us up to date on when your parts come in and you have your next wash! considering talking to dealer but sometimes they have a habit of making things worse

When I went through a rail car wash here in Ottawa I thought the car was going to be ripped to pieces lol. No leaks though. Just the terror of feeling as though the doors were about to ripped off :p

Dealer told me a lady had the same issue and it was addressed by toyota saying that the car wash she went to was to blame. Basically any car wash that sprays from the side or up will cause this.....

Are you kidding me? if theres any leak when the windows are closed its an issue. if they're saying it hasn't been raised as a significant issue they're working on yet then fine but the feedback needs to go back up to Head Office regardless so once its wide spread enough they'll have to address it.

that's complete BS. dealers will say anything to try and give their customers the run around. water should never EVER be able to go inside your car. call HQ and file a complaint to their location and their bogus claim.

I changed the door speakers the day after it rained and drops of water inside the door. It looked like most of it was entering through the small little triangular window. Its not getting inside the car per say but its still inside as far as I'm concerned.

It says in the car manuel not to go through car washes with high pressure directed at windows. Because of this I have washed it myself.

So lets see... don't go through no touch washers because water is sprayed on windows..

Don't go through them touch washers because they can scratch the paint..

Don't go to the manual high pressure washers for both of the above reasons..

So I gotta wash it in the driveway when its -10 with my low pressure hose?

Noticed this same issue here with my 86 in AUS brought it up when car just got it's first service.

Service manager said they could not replicate the issue.

Happens with any type of decent pressure where the water goes behind the glass and into the door seals, did not get water into the cabin though, puddled behind the glass.

I also noticed that the door seals were wearing in 2 places from the window opening and closing when door is opened keeping an eye on this.
