Looks really awful.

Maybe its the color scheme or whatever the hell is going on with the tailgate/back.

I own/DD a 2013 4Runner Trail Edition that I LOVE.

This thing just looks awful. I am just unsure what it is replacing.

I doesn't sit high enough to have suspension travel to be a true off-roader (like a 4Runner or FJ).

It also doesn't look like a good Crossover.

I just don't know WTF this is supposed to be.

Hopefully this doesn't get made.

I usually am a sucker for these prototypes and I want them all made (I really wanted the Nissan Nismo IDX for example...actually contacted Nissan and tried to sign up/put a reserve on one).

This just misses the mark.

i actually dont think its that bad from the side and interior. but they really need to do something with the front and rear.

The looks on this thing would be altered significantly from concept to production.

The mistake here was to call it the future FJ replacement (hopes dashed). This is way smaller and meant for a different audience.

This is more like a cross between the original Scion XB with some current Jeep Renegade mixed in. Very similar in configuration to a Gen 1 Bronco (circa 1966-1977).

So yeah, with the right powertrain and a decent wheel/tire setup I'd consider it.
