My friend did something stupid last friday....He's dead

Sorry, still in shock about the whole situation. I found out he caught his wife (woman mentioned in the video) cheating on him. Little background - he pursued this woman for awhile and proposed multiple times, finally talking her into marrying him. We were both trying to start a family, so it was a common conversation for us....always a fun one. The other guy mentioned in the video was his wife's brother.

He was a GREAT worker, friendly, funny, and always had a positive attitude. No clue what happened here, but obviously he snapped. Pretty bummed right now. I miss the guy already. Work won't be the same without him

Gonna miss you good sir.....

that's pretty crazy

but why did he off himself and not the wife? Article says she's wounded but in stable condition.

My guess is that he didn't know how to use the gun. He shot her in the arm. While, I loved the guy, I still think he was an idiot. None of us ever saw it coming other than one employee who he asked about how to get a gun. Even one of his best friends was in shock.

So many other routs and he chose the worst.

Unfortunately when a married couple has 2 different views of the relationship, and 2 different values assigned to the other's worth, people get hurt, some are more capable of coping, some are less.

I am having hard time with alot of things right now, but one of the biggest concerns I have is being able to find a woman I TRUST to start a family with.

Too many women I (thought) i respect(ed) have cheated on their husbands and caused great grief, honestly lucky they didn't get shot.

Our society as a whole has lost it's moral compass, as people move away from organized religion they seem to forget that the lessons aren't worthless, it's the stories they don't like, and that's not an endorsement for organized religion, it's a reminder that we need to be accountable and responsible for our actions...

Do unto others as you would have them do to you...a little wordy but it's hard to argue right

Sincerely sorry for your loss, I truly feel your pain.

Mike

Yup, barricaded himself in his house for 5-6 hours. At some point in that time period, he shot himself.

Yup, crappy situation, but tons better ways to work though it. He was warned BEFORE they got married, but he was "In love" so he ignored it.

That's dramatic (and traumatic).

Sorry for your loss. May you find comfort knowing he is no longer suffering.
